If you've been following me on twitter (@graciaowww), these week has been tiring + unlucky + irritating

1. I threw my uniform into the toilet bowl instead of laundry basket. Lucky that wasn't pee/shit in it.
2. Everything decided to go on a spoiling spree-actually just my wallet and nude wedges. And I don't have time to go look for a nice one!
3. Met this ridiculous uncle who refused to move to the left of the escalator and said those who want to walk can take the stairs. like wtfffffff. Idiot. and I was in such a mad rush!
4. AND TO ADD ON MY BLOG DRAFT DIDN'T MANAGE AND COULDN'T BE SAVE. I HATE YOU BLOGGER

Burnt my weekend this week going for photo competitions and catch-up sessions with my BFFs. Haven't touch my homework guess I will have to chiong, last week of term 1 already, time flies.

Sorry this post took forever....

Here's first day of cny at my ah-po's (grandma in the hainanese dialect) house. Although not everyone could make it at the same time, it's still nice to catch up with whoever was there and to visit my grandparents.



Watching free screening of chinese movies. Starhub rocks, please give us more free screening of channels more often plssss






 My ye-ye (it's pronounced differently in Hainanese). Didn't realise he enjoys taking photos and was so sporting haha. My grandma's more shy 
My great-grandmother, I heard she lived till a ripe old age.




He's damn cute he told me to wait and went to put on a nicer shirt to take photos in hahaha. He used to be a sailor and has many stories of him at sea. He even has a pen pal in america who he's still in contact with! Quite regretful that I didn't get to hear a lot of his stories as I didn't ask him much about it.

 In just 3 weeks his health took a turn for the worse. I hope he recovers and gets better soon.

 It's frightening to grow old and age...

My grandma isn't in the pink of health as well and I hope she will go on strong.

Spot my dad, he's the young boy standing in the middle! Being the oldest, he's had to go through a lot with extra responsibilities in the family. 
Fashionista in her own right. My grandma's collection of clothes is special, colourful and full of prints!





Wonder how old this rusted fan is....

My grandparents place is a treasure box because they are such hoarders so it's also quite messy. But then you get to find and see all these cool vintage old stuff. Their flat has never been renovated and they've been living here all their lives!

 I guess it's interesting to visit such places "untouched" by modernity. Every photo, every item, has a story behind it and I'm sure if you delve deeper, you will find out the stories behind them all.
